UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez to discuss rising military and security tensions in the region and their impact on regional and international peace.
Sánchez condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries, saying Spain’s Foreign Ministry had summoned the Iranian ambassador in Madrid to formally register its rejection.
Sheikh Mohamed thanked Sánchez for Spain’s support.
The two leaders called for an immediate halt to escalation and a return to dialogue, warning that continued conflict would threaten regional and global stability.
