His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved all housing support requests submitted by citizens to the Sharjah Department of Housing up to September 21, 2026.
The approvals cover 6,700 applications across housing loans and grants.
His Highness has also approved measures to address stalled individual housing projects, with the Sharjah Government completing 734 unfinished homes at a cost of AED 603.7 million.
In addition, the first batch of priority housing cases has been approved, comprising 500 homes valued at AED 400 million.
Further support has also been allocated to citizens who had reached advanced stages of building their homes but were unable to complete the projects.
The assistance, worth AED 101.6 million, will help bring those homes to completion.
