Saqr Ghobash, Chinese Ambassador discuss ties

Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, has discussed with the Chinese Ambassador to the UAE, Zhang Yiming, ways of enhancing bilateral ties.

The meeting, held at the FNC’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, also looked at a range of issues of mutual concern.

Ghobash said the relationship between the UAE and China is a model of ideal partnership based on friendship and mutual respect and highlighted the importance of visits and the exchange of expertise between the FNC and the Chinese parliament.

Zhang praised the FNC’s role in the UAE’s parliamentary diplomacy and its distinguished contributions to international parliamentary events, highlighting the deep-rooted relations between the two countries.
