Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) conducted 25 inspection campaigns in 2024, completing as many as 606,430 inspections across various passenger transport services.
The campaigns targeted fare evasion on public buses and marine transport, as well as school transport operations, air-conditioned shelters, passenger transport via chartered buses, and other passenger services.
The RTA’s efforts, often in collaboration with entities like Dubai Police and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, focus on reducing violations and improving service quality.
These campaigns are key to maintaining Dubai's reputation for exceptional public transport services and safety.
Officials have urged the public to follow fare payment rules and adhere to regulations for school transport and other services to help ensure smooth and efficient travel for everyone.
