Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Friday said it impounded a total of 9,753 vehicles in the year 2025 for parking rule violations.
The violations included "misuse of public parking, road and rail right-of-way encroachment", the authority said in its statement, adding that impounded vehicles were moved to the Lehbab Yard.
RTA carries out regular inspections as part of its efforts to preserve Dubai’s urban and aesthetic appearance, while enhancing traffic safety.
