As many as 110 prisoners in Ras Al Khaimah have been pardoned ahead of Eid Al Adha.
Their release has been ordered by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
The decision is aimed at giving them a second chance in life and also easing the burden on their families.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah and Chairman of the Judicial Council, has called on relevant authorities to take all necessary measures to process the release of the inmates, in close coordination with Ras Al Khaimah Police.
The list includes individuals who have been serving sentences for various charges.
