Early voting for the UAE’s Federal National Council elections will begin on Monday at nine polling centres across the country. This year the National Election Committee (NEC) has launched an electronic encryption voting protection system. Officials say it ensures the highest standard of accuracy and transparency during the electoral process. The first phase of voting will continue until September 30, following which general elections will be held on October 3.
