The UAE's national carrier has announced that travellers returning to the capital within 72 hours of their departure need not take a PCR test upon arrival.

Taking to their official website, Etihad Airways said it's "making it simpler for people to travel on short breaks and business trips".

It added that "for trips less than 72 hours, valid PCR tests taken in the UAE can now be used for return journeys too".

The carrier detailed that "the PCR certificate must be issued in the UAE" and urged passengers to "regularly check for latest travel regulations" before flying out.
