More passengers likely to sue Boeing for 2016 Dubai crash landing

More than a dozen passengers who were on board a flight which crash landed in Dubai last year are suing the aircraft’s manufacturer, Boeing.

The lawsuit, which has been filed through a US law firm in Illinois, states that the incident happened because a switch deactivated at a crucial moment.

The 15 passengers are also claiming that the incident left them with physical and psychological injuries.

Emirates Airline, the airline involved, is not included in the lawsuit, while Boeing have told ARN News that they do not comment on pending litigation.

Floyd Wisner, founder of Wisner Law Firm, says the aircraft should have given the pilots some kind of warning that the switch had been deactivated.
