An Iraqi toddler has been administered a life-saving injection worth AED 8 million at Al Jalila Children's Specialty Hospital in Dubai.
Baby Laveen Ibrahim is suffering from spinal muscular atrophy
Her treatment is supported by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The treatment is considered one of the world’s most expensive gene therapy.
