
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, received Dmytro Senik, Ambassador of Ukraine to the UAE, to mark the conclusion of the ambassador’s diplomatic tenure.
During the meeting, which took place in Qasr Al Watan, Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mansour and Ambassador Senik reviewed the state of bilateral relations between the UAE and Ukraine. The two sides discussed ways for enhancing cooperation across various sectors, reflecting the mutual interest in strengthening diplomatic and economic ties.
Sheikh Mansour expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Senik’s efforts in promoting closer relations between the two nations and acknowledged his contributions throughout his service in the UAE. He also extended his best wishes for the ambassador’s continued success in his future endeavors.
The farewell follows a recent meeting between UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which the leaders reviewed progress in UAE-Russia cooperation. Sheikh Mohamed expressed appreciation for Russia’s role in facilitating a UAE-mediated exchange of over 4,000 prisoners between Russia and Ukraine - an effort that reflects the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian diplomacy and conflict mediation.
