The COVID-19 situation in the UAE is fully under control due to stringent measures adopted in the country.

This was stated by His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, as he reviewed COVID-19 data and developments.

He urged people in the UAE to strictly follow precautionary measures to combat the spread of coronavirus.

With more than 4.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in the UAE so far, Sheikh Mansoor praised the community’s response towards the vaccination drive.

“The UAE’s ability to provide robust healthcare has resulted in the country registering one of the world’s lowest mortality rates of 0.3 per cent, compared to a global mortality rate of 2.14 per cent,” he stated.
