H.H. Sheikh Hamdan tours National Guard headquarters in Abu Dhabi

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, has been briefed on the National Guard's military prowess during a tour of its headquarters.

Posting a video of his visit on his official social media channels, Sheikh Hamdan said he "witnessed an impressive field demonstration by its personnel".

"We have full confidence in the National Guard’s ability to fulfil their mission with excellence," His Highness wrote.

During the visit, Sheikh Hamdan said that protecting the nation and preserving its achievements is a duty the armed forces carry with honour and selflessness. He praised their loyalty and military prowess, which ensure the UAE remains safe and secure.

He also stressed the need for strengthening the armed forces’ human and technological capabilities in line with global best practices.

At the end of the visit, Sheikh Hamdan noted that the Guard’s advanced capabilities reflect the support of the leadership, continuous investment in the defence system and a commitment to achieving the highest levels of proficiency.
