Fujairah Media Office dismisses rumours about oil tank fire

The Fujairah Media Office has denied all social media rumours regarding the fire that broke out in a tank of an oil waste processing and refining company at Thawban area.

It said that the fire did not affect the petroleum area and continues to operate as normal.

Only minor damage was caused to the property and no injuries were reported during the incident, the Media Office said.

They urged all media outlets to verify information from official sources before circulation.
