Free bottled drinking water will be provided to all private schools and nurseries in Sharjah.

The initiative is expected to benefit more than 200,000 students.

His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued the directive.

A similar initiative was implemented in all public schools and nurseries in the emirate last year.

The 'Zulal' branded bottled water will be supplied by Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) in coordination with the Sharjah Private Education Authority.
