Employees working in UAE federal ministries and agencies will now be required to undergo a PCR test every seven days.
That’s according to an announcement made by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR).
Officials have clarified that those who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be exempt from taking the nasal swab tests.
This comes as part of the authority’s safety protocols to limit the spread of the virus.
Previously, all federal government employees were required to take a PCR test every 14 days if they hadn't been vaccinated.
