Dubai Police are reminding road users to exercise caution and to follow the rules during rainy and unstable weather conditions.

The authority has stressed the importance of adjusting the speed to the weather conditions, paying attention to the road and not taking pictures or using the phone when driving.

Motorists are also advised to review the weather forecast before starting their journey, and to ensure their vehicles are in good condition, especially the tires, brakes and windshield wipers.

"Motorists are also advised to follow weather forecasts via official channels and be ready to comply with instructions issued by relevant authorities," said Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police.
