The first Dubai Police Triathlon will take place at Al Mamzar Beach Park on Sunday 11 October, offering athletes the chance to qualify for international competition.
The event is on the World Triathlon international calendar and will serve as a qualifier for the 2027 World Championships in Hamburg, Germany.
Held under the UAE Triathlon Federation, it is open to athletes of all ages and abilities, with individual and team races.
Individual competitions will feature seven age categories across Sprint, Standard and Olympic distances, with relay races for teams.
Organisers say the event is part of Dubai Police’s drive to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage people to make exercise part of their daily routine.
The triathlon is part of Dubai Police’s 2026 cycling programme, which includes 14 races over eight months, organised with the UAE Cycling Federation and Dubai Sports Council.
