Dubai Police conducts mock drill at EXPO 2020 Dubai site

WAM

Dubai Police will carry mock drills around the EXPO 2020 Dubai site from today in preparation for the event.

Security is at the forefront of the drill, which is essential to maintain smooth operations when millions of visitors from 191 countries are expected to visit.

Less than 23 days remain for doors to open to the widely anticipated event, as periodic updates surface from the organisers.

The last update saw the completion of the multi-million-dirham landscaping project, while His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai reviewed the final preparations at the site earlier this month.

"Our teams are ready and pavilions are complete for the world’s largest event since the outset of the pandemic," said H. H. Sheikh Mohammed.
