Dubai's Crown Prince has met with the Chairman of Etihad Rail to discuss the progress of the UAE's federal railway network.
His Highness Sheik Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, and Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed the second phase of the project, which will connect Abu Dhabi with Dubai.
In total the phase will have investments worth AED 4.4 billion.
The 1,200 km railway network is set to connect the seven emirates of the UAE and enhance connectivity with the GCC road network.
