Dubai commuters: take note of these new bus routes

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced three new bus routes and the upgrade of several more across the emirate.

From July 18, these changes will come into place:

NEW ROUTES

  • Route 77, starts from Baniyas Metro Station and calls at Airport Terminal 3, Deira City Centre and Airport Terminal 1.
  • Route F36, a metro bus service to start at Mall of the Emirates Station and pass by Arjan Hotel via Mall of the Emirates Metro Station, Al Barsha South and Dubai Science Park.
  • Route E102, which commutes between Ibn Battuta Station and Musaffah Al Shaabiya Bus Station at Abu Dhabi

UPGRADED BUS SERVICES

  • The switch of Route 50 to connect International City, Dragon Mart 2, and Al Khail Gate, after International City in the direction of Al Manama Street.
  • Route J01, which runs from the Mall of the Emirates Metro Station to Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), will be rerouted to provide transit services at JVC and all the way up to Al Barsha South, with the current transit service to be served by the new Route F36.
  • Route F32 which links Mall of the Emirates Metro Station and Sustainable City will be rerouted and transit service at Dubai Science Park will be provided by the new Route F36.
  • Route F60, linking Rashidiya Metro Station and Downtown Mirdif Gate, will be rerouted in the direction of City Centre Mirdif from Rashidiya Metro Station.
  • Route 367 between Rashidiya and International City will be rerouted between Al Rashidiya and International City via Warqaa to serve Silicon Oasis via Dubai Academic City.
