 
                                    Emirates airlines have extended the suspension of flights to the Sudanese capital Khartoum until November 1.
"Customers with final destination Khartoum will not be accepted until further notice from any point on the Emirates network," read a travel update on the airlines' website.
Earlier, ARN News Centre reported that flights to Sudan will remain cancelled until October 27 based on a statement received from the airline.
Sudan's civil aviation authority on Tuesday suspended all flights to and from Khartoum's international airport until October 30.
According to media reports, the suspension was due to the current events in the country.
Protesters took to the streets on Tuesday to demonstrate against the military takeover after a day of deadly clashes.
