Dubai Metro services on the Red Line resumed after suffering delays on Wednesday morning.
Smoke from a passenger's e-scooter had caused disruptions at the 'OnPassive' station.
Alternative buses were provided for passengers and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) thanked those affected for their understanding.
Within 45 minutes it tweeted that its service was back to normal.
For Dubai Metro Red line users, #RTA
