The AED 50 laser-based screening system for COVID-19 is now available at as many as 11 locations across the UAE.

The rapid blood test is a quick and affordable way for commuters to enter the emirate of Abu Dhabi, where a negative COVID-19 result is mandatory for those crossing the border.

It can now be taken at three locations in Abu Dhabi (Ghantoot, Zayed Sports City, Corniche), two in Al Ain (Al Hili, Al Hili Wedding Hall), and two in Dubai (Mina Rashed, Al Khawaneej), while there is also a centre each in Sharjah (Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club), Ajman (Emirates Hospitality Centre), Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

The testing centre at the border in Ghantoot and the one in Ajman are open 24/7 while the others have specific operating hours.

Appointments must be booked in advance, either online or through the SEHA app, depending on the location of the testing centre.
