The UAE has confirmed 3,498 new cases of COVID-19 from 187,176 tests.
Another 2,478 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 377,537.
Meanwhile, 16 more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,198.
A total of 385,160 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 6,425 are currently active.
