COVID-19: 1,958 new cases in the UAE

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention announced 1,958 new cases of COVID-19 in the country on Saturday.

Another 1,545 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 478,063 with 214,765 tests conducted over the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, three more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,550.

A total of 495,224 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 15,611 are currently active.
