The UAE has announced 1,614 new cases of COVID-19 from 177,688 tests.
As many as 1,600 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 519,405.
Another two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,617.
A total of 539,138 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,116 are currently active.

UAE air defences intercepted 16 ballistic missiles and 42 drones launched from Iran on Sunday, the Ministry of Defence (MOD) said, adding they've engaged 414 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,914 UAVs since the start of the attacks.
