Emirates Post has become one of the first postal entities in the world to have all “eligible customer-facing” staff fully vaccinated against COVID-19, making it safe for people when “receiving parcels and mails”.

Staff will wear ‘I am vaccinated against COVID-19’ pin to help members of the community identify them.

This milestone, along with the company’s extensive range of COVID-19 response measures, is another stage in its commitment to keeping employees, customers and the community safe.

Peter Somers, CEO of Emirates Post, thanked the UAE leadership for the clear guidance and support in ensuring the COVID-19 vaccines are easily accessible in the community.

“Emirates Post has taken significant step to ensure the wellbeing of our employees as well as making sure our customers are confident and reassured when visiting our Customer Happiness Centers or when receiving their parcels and mail from our couriers across the country,” he added.
