Individuals aged 16 and above now eligible for UAE's COVID-19 vaccine

UAE citizens and residents aged 16 and above are now eligible to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), the vaccine eligibility criteria has been expanded in line with the UAE's proactive policy to ensure the health and safety of all community members.

Previously, the minimum age to get the vaccine was 18 years.
