The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) highlighted that licensed abattoirs follow strict hygiene and safety standards, allowing only trained butchers to carry out slaughter following Islamic practices. This includes proper animal handling, prayer recitation and accurate cutting — critical for both religious observance and meat quality.
They also follow proper waste management and safely dispose meat that's unsafe.
