The pro-government coalition in Taiz has been further bolstered by a new convoy of Emirati military vehicles, as well as a new contingent of 400 Sudanese troops. A new batch of modern armoured vehicles is stationed at the southern front of Taiz, as military reinforcements along with hundreds of fighters and tanks are all prepared to liberate the port city of Mokha. Yemeni officials said that the battle will continue until the area was freed and believe that this outcome is possible within days. Meanwhile Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi chaired a meeting of advisors and has approved a team that will travel to Geneva to negotiate the political process in the country.
