Anwar Gargash discusses Yemen crisis with UN special envoy

Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, met with Hans Grundberg, Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Yemen on Thursday, to discuss the latest developments in Yemen and efforts to find a lasting solution to the suffering of the Yemeni people.

During the meeting, Dr. Anwar Gargash reaffirmed the UAE's support for the international efforts made to end the crisis and its repercussions on the stability of the region, praising the vital role played by Saudi Arabia.

Hans Grundberg expressed his deep concern on the repercussions of the attacks on maritime navigation, and the importance of preserving the regional security and the interests of its countries and peoples within the framework of international laws and norms.

The meeting was also attended by Mohamed Hamad Al Zaabi, the UAE Ambassador to Yemen.
