Police in Abu Dhabi received more than 26,000 phone calls on its emergency hotline during the Eid Al Adha holidays.
The calls to 999 were made by residents of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra cities.
Officers were able to handle the high volume of reports and took appropriate action based on the nature of each query.
They have once again called on the public not to hesitate to contact the Central Operations Room, which functions round-the-clock, even during public holidays.
