Starting from 12:01 am on October 8, travellers from 27 more countries will be able to enjoy quarantine-free travel to the UAE capital.

The US, UK, Israel, France and Spain are among the countries that have been added to Abu Dhabi's Green List.

Only Romania has been removed from the list during the latest update by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi).

According to the guideline, fully vaccinated travellers from Green List countries can travel to the capital with a PCR test on arrival, and another test on day six. Meanwhile, unvaccinated and exempt travellers must take a PCR test on arrival, on days six and day nine.

Vaccinated travellers arriving from non-Green List countries must take a PCR test on arrival, and have further tests on days four and eight. While unvaccinated visitors must take a PCR test on arrival, quarantine for 10 days and take another PCR test on day nine.
