Sixteen people have been rescued in two separate incidents on Sunday involving sinking boats in the UAE.
In a series of social media posts, the National Guard said the first incident involved a sinking cargo ship.
Search and rescue teams successfully evacuated three individuals with injuries using a rescue boat.
The men were given first-aid on the ship before transferring them to nearby hospitals for treatment, the post added.
In a second incident, 13 people were rescued from a sinking picnic boat off the UAE coast.
