West Indies defeated Thailand on their global debut by seven wickets in the Women's T20 World Cup in Perth on Saturday.
Thailand set up 78-9 from their 20 overs, with West Indies' Stafanie Taylor taking 3 wickets for 13 runs.
West Indies were briefly rattled at 27-3 after seven overs, losing Lee-Ann Kirby (3) and Hayley Matthews (16).
But, Taylor and Shemaine Campbelle set up a winning partnership, taking the side over the line by seven wickets and with 20 balls to spare.
