UK authorities have ordered an inquiry into claims a British doctor has administered drugs to a number of athletes. An investigation by the Sunday Times says the doctor charged players thousands of dirhams for performance-enhancing drug programmes. He was secretly filmed claiming he prescribed drugs including EPO, steroids and human growth hormones to footballers, cricketers, cyclists and tennis players. It’s also been revealed that the UK Anti-Doping Agency (Ukad) was given evidence of it two years ago.
