Russia will not contest its full ban from international athletics. The country has accepted the suspension over allegations of widespread and state-sponsored doping. The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) says there was no objection from the Eastern European country. The Russian Athletics Federation says it will cooperate with inspectors who plan to make changes to the country’s drug testing. Russia is the first country to be banned from international track and field competition and won’t be allowed back in until the IAAF allows it.
