Pakistan stun England at World Cup

Pakistan have shocked England at the World Cup.

They beat the hosts by 14 runs at Trent Bridge on Monday night to bounce back strongly after their horror show against the West Indies last week.

Batting first, Pakistan amassed 348 for 8 with three batsman making half centuries.

Mohammad Hafeez top-scored with a stroke-filled 84.

England's run chase was bolstered by twin centuries from captain Joe Root and wicketkeeper Jos Butler.

However, they ended up falling 14 runs short, finishing their allotted 50 overs on 334 for 9.
