Rory McIlroy says it's time to "reassess" his strategy at major tournaments.
It comes after the world number three from Northern Ireland missed the cut at last week's Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
McIlroy, who won the last of his four majors back in 2014, said he "almost tried to downplay the majors this year" and approach them as normal tournaments.
However, the two-time Omega Dubai Desert Classic winner says he's now realised that they require a different mindset and preparation.
