Former FIFA Vice President Jack Warner could be extradited to the U.S. to face corruption charges linked to a scandal that has rocked world football's governing body. The 72 year old native of Trinidad and Tobago, was indicted in May by a U.S. grand jury on charges of wire fraud, racketeering and money laundering. In July, U.S. authorities asked for Warner to be extradited from Trinidad to face the charges. Trinidad's Attorney General has said the extradition case will proceed and a magistrate will issue a ruling after hearing arguments on Friday, September 25.
