Australia edged out India in a low-scoring thriller to win the opening T20 International at Vishakhapatnam.
After restricting the hosts to 126 for 7, Australia reached their target off the last ball of the match with Patrick Cummins scoring the two runs needed for the tourists to seal the win.
The second match will be played at Bangalore on Tuesday.
