India fall to Sri Lanka in first Twenty20

MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli of India runs between the wickets during game one of the Twenty20 International match between Australia and India at Adelaide Oval on January 26, 2016 in Adelaide, Australia

India went down to Sri Lanka by five wickets in the first of the three-match Twenty20 series in Pune. India were all out for a paltry 101 in 18.5 overs yesterday, and Sri Lanka reached the target with two overs to spare. It’s a blow for skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, after the team won their previous series against Australia 3-0, to move first in the ICC rankings for the short format.
