His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, has reviewed preparations for the inaugural World Sports Summit, which will be held at Madinat Jumeirah from December 29 to 30.
He said the summit reflects Dubai’s commitment to using sport as a force for development and a better future for humanity.
The event wll bring together more than 1,500 participants, including international sports stars and legends, global sports leaders, decision-makers, and representatives of major sports federations and organisations.
Speaking during a board meeting of the Dubai Sports Council, Sheikh Mansoor said the summit marks a new phase for the sports sector in the UAE and the region, creating a space for global dialogue on governance, athlete development, infrastructure, talent nurturing, and the use of artificial intelligence in sport.
He also confirmed that preparations for the event are in place, adding that Dubai is fully ready to host the summit, supported by advanced infrastructure and strong organisational capabilities.
