Rory McIlroy closed the gap on leader, Andy Sullivan, to just two shots, by the end of his delayed second round. The world number three, and reigning Race to Dubai champion, had to finish his second round on the third day due to misty conditions delaying the start to Friday's action. After being on 5-under overnight, McIlroy claimed three shots back this morning, to be tied for 2nd with the American amateur Bryson DeChambeau. An even heavier fog this morning again caused another delay, meaning the leaders, along with many of the chasing pack, will have their third round split over two days.
