Former Scotland captain predicts League return for Burgess

Former Scotland captain Andy Nicol has predicted a return to Rugby League for England’s Sam Burgess. Nicol believes it was a failed attempt to convert Burgess into a rugby union player and contributed to England’s poor World Cup campaign. Speaking at the press conference for the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens in December, Nicol said that he couldn’t see where Burgess would fit into the current system.
