Europa League round-up: Napoli, Marseille and Schalke register big wins

Napoli, Schalke, Tottenham and Marseille have got off to a flying start in the Europa League. Italian side Napoli thrashed Belgium’s Club Brugge 5-0, Schalke defeated APOEL 3-0, Tottenham won 3-1 at home to Qarabag of Azerbaijan and Marseille beat Groningen 3-0. Elsewhere, Liverpool was held to a 1-1 draw by Bordeaux, Basel overcame Fiorentina 2-1, Athletic Bilbao defeated Augsburg 3-1 and Celtic secured a 2-2 draw against Ajax. Borussia Dortmund beat Krasnodar 2-1, Lazio drew 1-1 with Dnipro and Rapid Vienna overcame Villareal 2-1.
