The Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation will carry out a series of community development projects in Kazakhstan to enhance rehabilitation, sports and youth services.

Developed in cooperation with Kazakh authorities, the projects include a large-scale rehabilitation centre in Astana and a multi-purpose sports fields and children’s parks in the Turkistan Province.

The rehabilitation centre, which will cover 2.18 hectares in Astana, will be completed within 24 months. It is designed to support children of determination and those at risk of developing disabilities, offering comprehensive services that foster integration and long-term social inclusion.

These projects aim to promote inclusion and empowerment by providing accessible public spaces and specialised care that allow children and youth to be active.

In parallel, the foundation is expected to sign an MoU with Kazakh authorities to implement two additional projects in the towns of Akbastau and Birlik. These include multi-purpose sports fields — each spanning 750 square meters — equipped for a variety of youth activities and events. Nearby children’s parks, each 400 square meters in size, will be outfitted with educational and recreational equipment to support physical, mental and social development.
