The UAE will join the Indian community in celebrating the festival of lights, Diwali, with a grand event in Dubai on November 16.
Organised by Emirates Loves India and supported by the UAE Government Media Office and Dubai Police, the celebration will showcase the rich diversity of Indian culture through performances, art, music and folklore activities.
The event, set to take place at Zabeel Park, is expected to draw around 40,000 attendees and will feature special segments highlighting the contributions of the Indian community to the UAE’s development.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE's Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Sunjay Sudhir, India's Ambassador to the UAE, will attend, along with other diplomats and dignitaries.
This celebration underscores the UAE's commitment to fostering a peaceful, multicultural society and highlights its role in promoting tolerance and cross-cultural understanding.
