The Federal Geographic Information Centre has launched the UAE National Atlas book, coinciding with the 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations.
This comprehensive reference provides geographic data, indicators, aerial photographs, and satellite images, showcasing the country’s achievements over the past fifty years.
The atlas covers a wide range of sectors, including education, health, energy, culture, and transportation, and includes a special chapter on the founding of the Union.
The National Atlas serves as both a historical record and a tool for understanding the UAE’s development, reflecting the government’s aspirations for the future. It combines geographic information with spatial analysis, highlighting the nation’s progress under visionary leadership.
The atlas, produced in collaboration with federal entities, is part of the national strategy to enhance geographic information infrastructure.
A digital version, launched in September 2023, is accessible through the "UAE Atlas" app and official websites.
